we create our own unique blend of traditional and
innovative dishes, which changes through the seasons.
All our food is prepared fresh each day with great emphasis on the combination of flavours, textures and presentation.
Fish features prominently on our menus as does Game when in season. We also have interesting vegetarian dishes and coeliacs are well catered for.
Growing our own
2008 our Fifth year at The Shoe has seen many changes.We have extended our herb garden to include lettuce, courgettes, spinach and tomatoes. All grown organically and picked daily. This is an on-going project which this year with the addition of a large green house will be expanded to include vegetables, fruits and specialist produce like chillies, peppers and asparagus.
Inset picture shows the raised beds used to grow our produce these are filled with compost and horse manure from the local stud.
